Gin Ferdinando und Amaro 1904 haben ihre Wurzeln in der Familiengeschichte De Cinque und bringen alte Rezepte von Ferdinando, einem Verwandten der Produzenten von Bad Spirits, zurück.

Ferdinando De Cinque, Rechtsanwalt, Abgeordneter und Schriftsteller, wurde 1876 in Casoli in eine bedeutende Familie von Notaren aus der Region geboren.

Ständiges Spielen und Experimentieren begleiteten das Leben von Ferdinando, einem vielseitigen Mann mit einer konstanten Leidenschaft für das Studium, der nie aufhörte, die Natur mit Staunen zu betrachten.

In den ersten Jahren des 20. Jahrhunderts begann er, sein botanisches Wissen in die Praxis umzusetzen, indem er neue Kombinationen und Geschmacksrichtungen ausprobierte.

In 1904 entwickelt er das endgültige Rezept seines Bittergetränks.

Es gibt Dutzende von Seiten, die Ferdinando beschrieben hat, auf der Suche nach der perfekten Balance für seinen Bitter, alle datiert zwischen dem Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts und dem Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts: Notizen zu Ideen, Korrekturen und Versuche, welche Pflanzen, Kräuter und Blumen verwendet werden sollen, die entsprechenden Dosierungen, Kommentare zu den verschiedenen Ergebnissen und die Gewissheit, dass Verbesserungen möglich sind.

Genau wie bei seinem Gin wird Ferdinando niemals die Rezeptur seines Bittergetränks preisgeben.

Das moderne Etikett greift den damals beliebten futuristischen Stil auf, verfeinert durch einen taktilen Effekt, der die Verkostung abschließt und alle Sinne einbezieht.

Ein angenehmer und duftender Bitter, das Ergebnis feiner Balance, die ihn einzigartig, komplex und harmonisch macht: von den zitrusartigen Noten der Orange bis zu den würzigen Noten von Zimt und Nelken, mit einem Hauch von Lakritze und einer frischen Minznote.

Was den Geschmack von Amaro 1904 auszeichnet, ist die Kamille, eine kleine Blume, die dem Likör Tiefe und Aroma verleiht.

Der Amaro 1904 ist ein außergewöhnlicher Verdauungsschnaps, der pur getrunken werden kann, mit oder ohne Eis, eignet sich jedoch auch hervorragend zur Zubereitung von Cocktails.
