“フェルディナンドのジンとアマーロ 1904は、デ・チンクエ家の伝統に基づき、フェルディナンドによる昔ながらのレシピを再現しています。 彼はバッド スピリッツ社プロデューサーの先祖にあたります。”

弁護士・代議士・文学者であったフェルディナンド・デ・チンクエは、1876 年イタリアのカソーリにて、著名な公証人の家庭に生まれます。

多才で学びへの情熱を絶やさず、自然観察を欠かさなかったフェルディナンドの人生は、常に遊びと実験の連続でした。

1900年代初頭、植物に関する知識をジン作りの実践へと移し、様々な組み合わせや風味を試すようになりました。

そして 1904 年、彼は自作アマ―ロの最終レシピを完成させます。

フェルディナンドがアマーロの完璧なバランスを追求するために書いたメモが何十枚も残されています。 いずれも19世紀末から20世紀初頭のものであり、アイデアの注釈、どの植物・ハーブ・花を使うべきかのテストや修正、さまざまな結果に対するコメント、常に改良できるように気付いた点が記されています。

ジンに関して、フェルディナンドはアマーロの製法を決して公にしませんでした。

ラベルは、当時流行していたパステル調の色合いを更に現代風にアレンジ。未来的なデザインが特徴です。このソフトなタッチによって、五感を刺激する味わいが完成します。

色は琥珀色。オレンジの柑橘系と、シナモンやクローブのスパイシーな香り、そしてミント、リコリスの爽やかな香り、これらが複雑に調和した心地良い香りのアマーロです。

しかし、このボタニカルのパフォーマンスの中でも真の主役は、リキュールに香りと深みを与えることができる小さな花=カモミールです。

アマーロ1904は、氷があっても無くてもストレートでお楽しみいただける格別なディジェスティフ（食後酒）ですが、カクテルの調合にも最適です。
